Balkan New Film Festival: First Time Kosovo/Serbia + Q&A with director Idro Seferi
First Time Kosovo/Serbia, by Idro Seferi, is a compelling and visually striking documentary that follows the journey of Serbian citizens as they venture into Kosovo for the first time.
Through honest interviews and captivating cinematography, the film captures their discoveries, emotions, and insights as they explore the region’s rich history, culture, and the complex relationship between Serbia and Kosovo.
In the film´s first half, five people from Serbia visit Kosovo and its few cities and talk to people there, artists and activists, but also ordinary people.
In the second half, Kosovo Albanians visit cities in Serbia and during their travel they confront their predjudices and questions they have about what people think about relations between the two societies, specificially about Kosovo political issues.
After the film there will be a Q&A with director Idro Seferi.
